    Annapura Circuit April 2013

The Annapura Circuit trek was the second trip my friend Sam and I did with Ashok of Ex-Guides, the first being Everest Base Camp in December 2010.

You could not wish to travel with a better guide! Ashok and his team organized everything and took the stress out of the trip; all we had to do was enjoy the experience. The team at Ex-Guides ensured that we were well taken care of. Even though we were trekking at high altitude, their professional guidance ensured that we were safe at all times.

Both treks were very different but equally unbelievable in their scenery, the people of the region and the overall experience. Ashok was very knowledgeable about both regions. He took us to Teahouses with fantastic views, taught us about the food and the mountains. He selected the best routes and was just friendly and fun to travel with. He even baked a birthday cake for me and Sam at high altitude, our birthdays being two days appart!

I would not hesitate to go to Nepal again, and would definately travel with Ashok and his team when the opportunity presents itself again. Lets hope that is soon!

I cannot recommend Ashok and the Ex-Guides highly enough. Thanks for the amazing times, guys, look forward to the next trip!
