Important Note: Trekking Peak Climbing in Nepal takes place at low, middle and high altitude, for short and longer duration and at distinctly different times of year- and even has the distinction between tea house trekking and tented Camping. Thus this here is intended as a check a reminder and in conjunction with it, we can give you clear advice basedon, and adapted to, the particular trekking peak climbing in which you are involved.

Essential Personal Trekking Peak Climbing  Equipment:

We ExGuides Treks and Expeditions  would like to Suggest Correct clothing and Equipments are essential for a safe and enjoyable trekking peak climbing. Experienced trekker will often take only a selection of thsese items based on what has well worked in the past trekking peak climbing. For Peak Climbing Personal Equipment

  • Ice Axe , Crampons , 2 X Tape Slings , Harness, 2 x screw gate Karabiners, Descender/ Abseil Device , Prussic Loops & Plastic Mountaineering Boots
  • Footwear
  • Running Shoes one pair for casual comfortable support shoes wear on light during walk days
  • Light trekking boots one pair of sturdy trekking boots in which you wear a light sock under a warm heavy sock comfortably. Boots Sole should be flexible but still provide enough support for your feets. Boot should be water repellent.
  • Wool sock three pair heavyweight wool socks to be worn over the liner sock. When layering sock , check fit over feets and inside boots. Remember please to keep one fresh , dry pair of sock available at all the times.
  • Liner sock three pair of smooths thin wool , nylon of capilene to be worn next to the skin. This will reduce the incidence of blisters and hot-spot and makes the outer last longer before needing to changed. They have to fit well with your heavyweight sock.
  • Clothing during trekking peak climbing
  • Light weight long underwear two pair , tops and bottom , capilene , other synthetic or wools. No cotton please. Light weight is preferable as it is more skilled.
  • Light trekking pant light weight nylon pants designed to be use while for trekking, also Quickly dry and provide sun protection.
  • Light weight t-shirt and bandana for face masks
  • Soft shell and hard shell jacket with hood , ExGuide recommend a waterproof breathable shell material with full fron zipper and outer layer protects against wind and rain.
  • Hard shall pant with waterproof and breathable and long as you get them over your boot
  • Handwear for peakclimbing
  • Soft shell fleece gloves one pair and shell gloves with insulation one pair
  • Headwear
  • Headlamp and spare battries, good quality climber’s headlamp for use at night
  • Sun hat with good visor provides protection for the nose and eyes
  • Glass, 100% UV,IR ,high quality lenses designed for mountain use. If you wear contact lenses ExGuide recommended packing a spare pair of glasses. If you wear glasses ExGuide recommended prescription glacier glasses (gray)
  • Sleeping Bag , good quality with hood to at least -20 degree
  • Day Bagpack , day pack big enough to carry water bottles , camera , lunch and extra clothing .
  • Trekking poles , this is only Optional
  • Water treatment tablets and two water bottles with wide mount bottle 1 Litre capacity per water bottle
  • Sunscreen , SPF 30 or more than 30 SPF make sure sun screen is not older than 6 months
  • Lip screen , SPF more than 30 not older than 6 months.
  • MP3 player this only optional
  • Large duffle bag for your clothing
  • Plastic bags for lining stuff sacks and keep your gear dry.
  • Travel clothing for air travel days and time spent in kathmandu
  • Personal first AID KIT (small and simple) for during trekking peak climbing

Itinerary

  • Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu (Altitude:1350m) ? Arrive Kathmandu, Our tour leader will be at the airport with our company’s logo. Once you will met the leader you will be warmly welcomed and will be transferred via chartered vehicle to the hotel in Kathmandu which will require approx. half an hour’s drive through roads and intricate streets. And after check-in at the hotel and refreshing, you will be briefed regarding your hotel, its surrounding areas and your wonderful tour itself.Included accommodation: Guest house in Thamel

  • Day 02:  Preparing day ? Today we would check all your equipment in kathmandu before off to pisang peak climbing and rest of day free time for you.Included accommodation: Guest house in Thamel

  • Day 03:  Drive from  kathmandu to Bhulbhuel (Altitude:840m), walking time approx 2 hrs  ? drive from Kathmandu to Beshi Shar. The journey takes approximately 6 hours. Once arrived in Beshi Shar we start walking for 2 hours to Bhulbhule. We spend the night at Bhulbhule. (altitude: 840 m) included accommodation: Tea house.   Included meal: No. Mode of transport: Chartered vehicle
  • Day 04: Trek from bhulbhul from Bahun Dada (Altitude:1310m), walking time approx 5 hrs ? Bahun Dada will be our next destination. Our walking time on day two will be approximately 5 hours. Included accommodation: Tea house.

  • Day 05: Trek from bahun dada Chamje (Altitude:1430m), walking time approx 6/7 hrs ? Chamje is our destination for day 3 and our walking time will be approximately
    6 – 7 hours (altitude: 1430m),Included accommodation: Tea house.
    Included meal: No.
  • Day 06: Trek from chamje to Bagarchap (Altitude:2160m), walking time approx 6/7 hrs ? We move onto Bagarchap and spend the night. It would take us approximately
    6 – 7 hours on day four (altitude: 2160m)                                                                                                                                                                                                            Included accommodation: Tea house.

  • Day 07: Trek from bagarchap to Chame (Altitude:2670m), walking time approx 5 hrs ? Our next village will be Chame and we will be walking for approximately 5 hours. Internet facilities are available at Chamje (altitude: 2670m)Included accommodation: Tea house.

  • Day 08: Trek from chame to Pisang (Altitude:3200m), walking time approx 5 hrs ? There are two Pisangs; one upper and one lower Pisang. We will be staying at lower Pisang and we pay a visit to upper Pisang. From upper Pisang you can explore the mountain on upper Pisang. The village is very old. It takes 40 minutes to reach upper Pisang from low Pisang. We will be walking for approximately 5 hours (altitude: 3200m.Included accommodation: Tea house.

  • Day 09:  Acclimatization day at Pisang (Altitude:3200m) ? Today our climbing leader take you high up hill and come down to pisang its for acclimatization and rest of afternoon time you can enjoy. Included accommodation : tea house Included meal : no
  • Day 10: Pisang peak base camp (Altitude:4380m) ? From pisang village after breakfast head to pisang peak base camp from today you will be staying at tent.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Included accommodation   : tent                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Included meal : breakfast, lunch ,dinner
  • Day 11: Pisang base camp to high camp (Altitude:5400m), walking time approx 3/4 hrs ? Our climbing will teach you how to fix rope and some climbing tips near by pisang peak base camp and then head to high camp. Included accommodation : tent                                 Include meal : breakfast , lunch, dinner
  • Day 12: High camp to summit pisang peak and come down to pisang peak base camp ? Today early in the morning your pisang peak climbing will start , go up in the chase, traverse to the right up on a wide stone field and cross the bridge to the glacier, please be always beware of the crevasses then have safe and good climb to summit of pisang peak. After summits pisang peak you will see panoramic view of Himalayas of Annapurna region including , mount manaslu and Dhaulagiri and whole Annapurna ranges, this would be magical views of your life time. After enjoying views come down to pisang peak base campIncluded accommodation : tent Included meal  : breakfast , lunch and dinner
  • Day 13: Trek from pisang base camp to manang (Altitude:3540m), walking time approx 5/6 hrs ? From pisang base camp trek to manang is easy walking , and after pisang village you will joing again Annapurna trek trail and follow same trekking trail as Annapurna circuit trek.Included accommodation : tea house Included meal : no
  • Day 10: Trek from manang to Yak Kharka (Altitude:4050m), walking  time approx 4 hrs  ? Yak Kharke. Our walking time will be approximately 4 hours. This will be our rest point and you will have free time to explore (altitude: 4050m).Included accommodation: Tea house.

  • Day 11: Trek from yak kharka to Phedi (Altitude:4550m), walking time approx 9/ 10 hrs? Phedi will be our next destination and walking will be approximately 4 hrs. The following day will be a very long hike and we will be walking for approximately 9 – 10 hours. It will be an early rise (altitude: 4550m).Included accommodation: Tea house.

  • Day 12: Trek from phedi to Muktinath (Altitude:3760m),Throng – La Pass (altitude:5416m)? Throng-La Pass. This will be our last day, reaching the magnificent Throng-La Pass. We will be staying on the other side of Throng-La Pass at Muktinath (altitude: 3760m). Congratulations! We have now reached the world’s highest pass (5416 m in height). Muktinath is a pilgrimage site for Buddhists and Hindus.Many people go to pay homage at Muktinath,every year.Included accommodation: Tea house.

  • Day 13: Trek from muktinath drive to tatopani ? From muktinath you will drive down to tatopani , where is hot spring you can enjoy at evening time after reaching tatopani.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Included accommodation : tea  house                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Included meal : no  Included vehicle : local jeep
  • Day 14: Trek from  tatopani to pokhara, (Altitude:827m), walking time approx 6 hrs ? Approx. 6 hour drive to pokhara from tatopani  and pokhara is beautiful city you will enjoy at pokhara.   Included accommodation : hotel in pokhara.                                                                                                                                    
  • Day 15: Drive from pokhara to kathmandu (Atitude:1350m),walking time approx 6 hrs ? Approx. 6 hours drive from pokhara to kathmandu ,you will arrived kathmandu around 3 pm , but its depend on traffic. Today is you last night dinner with your climbing guide and all nepali staff  welfare dinner. Included accommodation : hotel in thamel.Included meal : no   Included vehicle : Tourist bus
  • Day 16:  Final departure back to home ? We exguide would drop at airport, say good bye .Included vehicle : private car , or jeep
